New Barn Farm est située dans le Bedfordshire, à environ une heure de route de Londres. Cette ferme est idéale pour les amoureux des animaux, vous pourrez notamment rencontrer et toiletter des chevaux et il y a un mini zoo juste à côté du parking de la ferme. Vous logerez chez la famille Tongue et les hébergements, situés à la lisière de Blackwell Spinney, donnent sur un champ où les animaux paissent.
Les villes du Bedfordshire
Si vous avez envie d'un retour à la civilisation, visitez les villes voisines de la région : la ville animée d'Olney, les villes universitaires voisines d'Oxford et de Cambridge, ou les circuits de course de Silverstone et de Towcester. Vous pouvez également louer des vélos à la ferme pour explorer les alentours.
Les activités disponibles à New Barn Farm
De nombreux autres animaux vivent également à la ferme : un cochon, trois chiens, des moutons, des chèvres naines, des ânes, des canards et des poules ! Vous pourrez peut-être voir et entendre depuis le lodge des blaireaux, des renards, une variété de hiboux, des pics et des petits cerfs Muntjac.
Explorez la forêt, baladez-vous en bordures des champs, empruntez l’un des sentiers autour de la ferme, faites du vélo ou pique-niquez. À la tombée de la nuit, prenez des plats faits maison à l'épicerie ou faites cuire un ragoût sur votre poêle à bois et terminez la nuit emmitouflé confortablement dans nos lits.

We had a wonderful time at New Barn Farm. It was great to be so close to the animals and to be able to be hands on with them, playing with the guinea pigs, grooming the ponies, feeding the pigs… The pizza night was brilliant and Hannah, s lasagna on arrival was perfect. It was cozy, welcoming and very child friendly.

Fun but damp! Despite the rain the kids loved the accommodation, especially being able to turn the cubby hole into a den. A very relaxing weekend and great to get away from the hustle and bustle and to take a step back.

The best holiday experience I have had. Hannah and will were just amazing. If there were a rating above excellent I would give it..they just made the experience so special and wholesome. We left feeling that we made new friends. We want to visit at least once a year to stay on the farm and most importantly meet them. Hannah and Will are simply GOOD human beings and they deserve the very best.

We all had a wonderful time. Hannah and Will were excellent hosts and every aspect of our stay was fantastic….from the accomodation, food (pizza and pastries were the best), through to the animals and the activities on the farm. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay!

We had an amazing stay at new barn farm. It was our first glamping experience and we absolutely loved it! Hannah and will made sure that our stay went great. The location of the tent is so lovely just next to the animals. The kids had a wonderful time, made some new friends and want to go back!

We had a wonderful Easter week at New Barn Farm with our 8 year old grand-daughter. She loved everything from grooming the ponies to caring for her own guinea pig for the week. She collected eggs, fed the pigs, saw a lamb born, held baby chicks in the small barn and milked sheep in a neighbouring farm. Plenty of opportunity to interact with other families and all the children loved the pedal go karts and the rope swing in the woodland area. Pizza evenings were fun and the farmer's wife cooked wonderfully tasty meals delivered to our tent on the days we opted not to cook for ourselves. The tents have a lovely rustic feel and our grand-daughter loved the cupboard bed. There were a few colder mornings and evenings in early April but cosy once we got our wood burning stove going. We also cooked outside including a 'farmer's stew' (ingredients supplied for us) which added to the experience. The honesty shop was a delightful concept for our grand-daughter and collecting the chopped wood another new experience. Hannah and Will are wonderful hosts and were always happy to go the extra mile. We have very fond memories of our time at New Barn Farm.

We vonden New Barn Farm een prachtige plek en Hannah en Will zeer gastvrij. We waren er tijdens een hittegolf, maar om de tent was altijd wel koelte te vinden. De kinderen hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt in het bos met de touwschommel.

We had 2 lodges and had the most wonderful experience. The hosts were very helpful and the food was excellent . New Barn Farm was fantastic we loved the views, tree swing, farm animals, and the pizza night was a real hit !!The lodges are clean, beds were comfortable and the hot shower made it a home away from home.Pony grooming and having the opportunity to stroke the horses was a real highlight for my daughter.If horse riding could be added to the list of activities our girls would never leave !!Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Had a fantastic stay, it’s a lovely site with the tents well laid out. Hannah and Will were so helpful and we felt provided lots of added value-delicious pizzas, fantastic honesty shop, free mini go karts to ride round etc. We stayed over Easter and they were very generous, putting on an Easter egg hunt for the children and a gift of home made lemon drizzle (delicious!). We will definitely be back!

The best sort of holiday for a gang of 8 children aged between 3 and 9 , everything children need … freedom to run , roam and explore . A chance for them to make their own decisions.
With the added excitement of fire ( and marshmallows!)
The adults can pretend that cooking without modern conveniences is a pain but actually enjoying the challenge!
Lovely snuggly beds to lie in and listen to nature, rain, wind, birds, day and night! ( rooster included!)
A taste of the good old days but knowing that you can return to the present day later.
All in all, a really great holiday!
