Wyresdale Farm is the most beautiful location for a relaxing stay. The tent was gorgeous and very comfy. The woodland retreat was perfect, great for exploring and the campfire was brilliant every night. The kids loved telling ghost stories and using the tree swing. The jetty leading to the lake was so fantastic to walk up and relax on for the day. We loved it. The only drawback for me was the Hot Tub. Didn't realise we would have to fill it up and heat it with logs to use. We did do this on the Saturday, stoking the fire all day, but it didn't reach a temperature for relaxing in with a glass of Prosecco, which is what I imagined. As a result we didn't use it at all. We were also unable to hire a boat which the kids were really looking forward to. Having said that it did not spoil our holiday and we will be going back next year.

Great. The whole family had an amazing time. The only negative is that tent 4 has a very small sink compared to ALL the other rents!

We loved our weekend at Wyresdale Park! The location and accommodation were great and the hosts were really friendly. The kids (and the dog!) had a ball playing in the woods, building campfires, rowing on the lake and soaking in the hot tub!

Fantastic escape from the conveniences of modern life if you choose it. Quality family time together. The table and work surface were a bit too rustic with drinks wobbling over and food crumbs getting stuck in the crevices.

Great escape from everyday life. Enjoyed the glamping experience- as we are used to camping it was a treat to sleep in a bed but still be under canvas, and cook on and heat the tent with the stove. The cool box and ice packs were really useful and worked well (April holiday). Also loved the outside shower once we got to grips with the water temperature, and the wood fired hot tub was very popular with the kids/teenagers and adult’s alike. Small site nestled in trees with great lakeside views and access, shame about nearby motorway noise and the potholes on the drive to the tents. Would have happily stayed longer.

Our short stay was perfect in every way. Neil gave us a warm welcome and explained everything we needed to know. We loved getting back to nature in the fantastically rustic but well-equipped tent among mature trees. Loved having our own jetty out on the lake. Enjoyed cooking on the woodburner in the tent and outside on the campfire. A truly wonderful experience!

A really nice getaway in an accessible location. We loved the safari tent which had more than enough room for the four of us. The kids loved the fact there was a cabin bed that opened into the main bedroom and the outdoor shower was excellent. We hired the hot tub and row boat during our stay and would do that again. Having the private woodland space to ourselves for games and a BBQ was a bonus! Looking forward to our next Feather Down stay!

Stayed on a Wowcher weekend break with my three grandchildren aged between 8 and 12. They loved it as a complete new experience for them. The food in the cafe, though a little on the expensive side was amazing. The guy on site, Neil was very helpful indeed. Would return here again definitely

What a fantastic setting for a family holiday! The children enjoyed boating on the lake, the rope swing and toasting marshmallows on a campfire. They also loved the hot tub, which heated up a lot quicker than we expected.
We were warmly welcomed and everything was well explained so we could quickly settle in to the experience.
It was an adventure that we can’t wait to do again and so booked for next year as soon as we arrived home!!!!

A fab break away from it all, kids had a ball and didn't once complain about anything to do!They loved the lake and hired one of the boats for the day as well, we had everything we needed for our break, will bring torches next time as we forgot to pack them but was fine without. Had wood there for us for the stove and hot tub and just bought extra at a good price for the next night.Hot tub takes a couple of hours to heat up and fill for the first time so would recommend doing that straight away. They have frozen water bottles to put in the box for you to keep things cool as well, brilliant idea!Enough room to sleep 8 people as well and the tents are spacious as well, 2 people have camp beds in another smaller tent that also has a selection of games in it.Loved the stove inside and cooking on it was fine, all utensils and pans and kettle provided as well. The shower outside was great, does give you hot water and was great to sit out on a night by the fire pit near the lake and we were lucky to get one of the tents that was opposite it's own little pier onto the lake.Families and couples will absolutely love this place, a true get away from it all place.

Had an amazingly chilled time. Suitable for all ages. Thoroughly enjoyed by all including children aged 15,16 and 20! Had moonlight dips in the lake followed by a dip in the hot tub. Walked up the Nicky Nook and visited the farm cafe which serve delicious food. The tents are very secluded and private so you don't notice anyone else is there. Neil the farmer was very helpful and always on standby in case you needed anything
