New Barn Farm est située dans le Bedfordshire, à environ une heure de route de Londres. Cette ferme est idéale pour les amoureux des animaux, vous pourrez notamment rencontrer et toiletter des chevaux et il y a un mini zoo juste à côté du parking de la ferme. Vous logerez chez la famille Tongue et les hébergements, situés à la lisière de Blackwell Spinney, donnent sur un champ où les animaux paissent.
Les villes du Bedfordshire
Si vous avez envie d'un retour à la civilisation, visitez les villes voisines de la région : la ville animée d'Olney, les villes universitaires voisines d'Oxford et de Cambridge, ou les circuits de course de Silverstone et de Towcester. Vous pouvez également louer des vélos à la ferme pour explorer les alentours.
Les activités disponibles à New Barn Farm
De nombreux autres animaux vivent également à la ferme : un cochon, trois chiens, des moutons, des chèvres naines, des ânes, des canards et des poules ! Vous pourrez peut-être voir et entendre depuis le lodge des blaireaux, des renards, une variété de hiboux, des pics et des petits cerfs Muntjac.
Explorez la forêt, baladez-vous en bordures des champs, empruntez l’un des sentiers autour de la ferme, faites du vélo ou pique-niquez. À la tombée de la nuit, prenez des plats faits maison à l'épicerie ou faites cuire un ragoût sur votre poêle à bois et terminez la nuit emmitouflé confortablement dans nos lits.

Very good and would highly recommend it. Hannah and Will are great hosts and the farm itself is great for children. Their pizza night was great and the pizzas were delicious!
The downside of our experience was that not all the animals listed on the site were there when we visited. Also, I highly recommend putting signs up on areas with electric fences. My 4 year old daughter touched an electrical fence whilst admiring a little pony and that was not a great experience for her or for us. There were no signs indicating the electrical fence.
Overall we had a great time and would definitely return.

We had a great time at New Barn Farm. The farm is great fun for the kids: picking chicken eggs, cuddling guinea pigs, feeding pigs and grooming ponies… The hosts offer a super fun pizza night and a brilliant farm tour on the back of a tractor. The tent had everything we needed and we loved not having electricity for a few days.

Het was een heerlijk weekend. De kinderen hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt met alle dieren op de boerderij. Ze mochten de kippen uit hun hok halen en er zelf weer in doen aan het einde van de dag. We hebben meerdere wandelingen gemaakt vanaf de boerderij in de mooie omgeving. Het eten ( pizza en lasagne) en winkeltje waren helemaal top.

Absolutely brilliant. Our hosts Hannah and Will went above and beyond for us. The farm was amazing with loads to do for everyone. My children especially loved the pony grooming and pizza night. Everything was really nicely laid out with easy access to walking and cycling paths. Lots to do near by in the local area as well.

Fabulous fun on the farm! Delicious homemade food and pizzas, brilliant honesty shop, great swing, karts and bikes to play, and too many animals to count!! The kids roamed free and we all had a chilled week outside. One of the best Featherdowns - thank you Hannah and Will!

Our children (5 and 2) absolutely loved staying at New Barn Farm. The animals, go-karts, tractors and the adventure of staying in a safari tent made their holiday (and year!). There’s enough to do to keep everyone entertained, while recharging in nature.

We had a wonderful time at New Barn Farm. It was great to be so close to the animals and to be able to be hands on with them, playing with the guinea pigs, grooming the ponies, feeding the pigs… The pizza night was brilliant and Hannah, s lasagna on arrival was perfect. It was cozy, welcoming and very child friendly.
