La ferme abrite des poneys mais vous rencontrerez d'autres animaux comme des moutons, des chèvres, des cochons, des canards, des poules, des agneaux, un veau, des poules, des cochons d'Inde et deux nouvelles dindes - Thelma et Louise ! Le New Forest Water Park et Somerley House se trouvent à seulement 10 minutes de la ferme. Des événements et activités y sont régulièrement organisés.
Vous vous sentez l'âme d'un aventurier ? Testez la piste d'accrobranche Go Ape (à 10 km) et le parc à thème de Paultons (à 16 km). Pour compléter votre aventure, rendez-vous à Stonehenge et dans la ville médiévale de Salisbury.
Les activités disponibles à Midgham Farm
A Midgham Farm, les enfants pourront faire de la balançoire et jouer dans les bacs à sable. Pendant votre séjour, essayez-vous à la pêche à la mouche (entre le 15 avril et le 30 septembre), la pêche au gros (du 15 juin au 15 mars), le tir à l'arc ou le lancer de hache ! La ferme accueille des agneaux chaque printemps. Les enfants peuvent donc donner le biberon aux nouveaux-nés et se faire une idée de la vie à la ferme. Le soir, rassemblez-vous autour de l'un des quatre feux de camp, faites griller des marshmallows et partagez vos aventures.

Glorious! Beautiful woods, and a lovely farm tour with the super knowledgable and practical Farmer Sammy. I loved our wood stove and lanterns and the tent was great - yes it’s darkish but in an atmospheric way. Great pubs and great horses nearby.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, especially with the shady forest during a scorching weekend, and Sammy is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The kids loved the goats and seeing the horses!

Midgham Farm is a wonderful place to stay. Due to the layout of the tents across the forest there was plenty of space for children to explore without bothering other glampers. The hosts at this featherdown have provided so much for kids to do and see that they couldn't fail to have an amazing time. We felt Sammy was passionate about the children having some 'wild' time and everything was provided to have a relaxed, fun stay.

Our grandchildren loved this experience. The canvas tents were comfortable and well equipped, campfires in the evening cooking marshmallows and the pygmy goats were definitely the best bits! Will come again.

Great rustic get away, lovely set up and very friendly.Nice camp, great pizza oven. The only issue we had was that the cold water in the shower went off after 90 seconds - so very fast showers all round. Otherwise a lovely place and we would be happy to return

Wonderful to escape to the countryside and for the children to be 'free range kids' for a few days. As a parent I'm always concerned about how much time my children spend on screens so it was brilliant to see them having so much fun in the fresh air and never once asking for screen time.

Fabulous escape from the real world. The kids absolutely love exploring, feeding the animals, playing on the swings and of course the marshmallow roasting. And if the kids are happy, the adults can relax and enjoy themselves.

This was our third visit to Midgham and as always it was just wonderful. Sammy and her family are so welcoming and helpful; the tents are in the most idyllic spot with plenty of room for the kids to explore and run wild; there is an easy walk into Fordingbridge with pubs and playground and river to splash in, and you can easily reach the river from the farm where we spent a lovely ,morning wild swimming and fishing. We have visited a LOT of Featherdowns but keep coming back to Midgham because whatever the weather, it really does have something for everyone. We have already recommended friends and if you're thinking of booking then don't hesitate, you will have a brilliant time. We will definitely be back!!
